Dosa Chutney Recipe
Dosa chutney is a popular South Indian condiment that is typically served with dosas, idlis, and other South Indian dishes. There are various types of chutneys that can be served with dosas, and the exact recipe may vary depending on personal preferences and regional variations. Here i am sharing one of the basic recipes for dosa chutney:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh grated coconut
- 2-3 green chilies (adjust to taste)
- 1to 2 tbsp roasted chana dal (split chickpeas)
- A small piece of ginger (about 1/2 inch)
- 2-3 cloves garlic (optional)
- 1 cup Milk
- Salt to taste
- Curry Leaves
For Tempering:
- 1 tablespoon oil (coconut oil or vegetable oil)
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- Small Onion chopped 4
- 1/2 teaspoon urad dal (split black gram)(optional)
- A few curry leaves
- 2-3 dried red chilies (broken into pieces)
