Carrot Loaf Cake




Ingredients

  • Apf/Maida  1.5 cup
  • BakingPowder 1.5 tsp
  • Baking Soda 3/4tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Spices(Ground cardamom 4,cloves4 and a small piece of cinnamon)
  • Grated carrot 1 1/2 
  • Brown sugar 3/4 cup
  • Veg Oil 100ml
  • Vanila Essence 1 tsp
  • Egg 3
Method

  • Preheat an oven at 180 c for 5 minutes.
Prepare Dry Ingredients     
  •  Sift 1.5cup of  Apf /Maida  into a bowl.
  • Add baking Powder and Baking soda into it.
  • Add  ground spices.
  • Combine all the ingredients  togethet with a wisk.
Prepare Wet Ingredients
  • Take another bowl and break 3 eggs into it.
  • Add powdered brown sugar,vanilla essence,oil into it.   
  • Whisk well  until all the ingredients are mixed togeher.
Pour the wet ingredients into dry ingredients,using a spatula fold the ingredients together until well combined. Fold in grated carrot and mix well.Do not over mix the batter.
  • Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan/ cake pan.I placed one rectangle shaped parchment paper inside the pan and greased the paper also.After that i poured the batter into the pan.
  • Keep the pan inside the preheated oven and bake at 180°c for about 45 minutes.
  • When the cake is done switch off the oven and take out the cake pan and allow it to cool down.
  • After cooling down the cake completely cut it into pieces and Serve
