LAVALOLIKKA LOLOLIKKA /LOOBIKKA PICKLE



  Ingredients

1.Pickled Lololikka 1 cup
2.Olive Oil 1/2 cup(You can use gingelli oil instead of olive oil)
3.Apple cider Vinegar or white vinegar1/3 cup 
4.Chopped small onion (3-4)
5 Garlic sliced big(10)
6.Chopped Ginger (a small piece)
7.Mustard seeds(1/2 tsp)
8.Fenugreek powder (Uluva)1/4 tsp
9.Asafoetida (Kayam)powder 1/2 tsp
10.Chilli Powder 3tbs
11.Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
12.Salt  (Its already pickled in salt water if you need more salt add required salt)
13.Curry leaves  required
14.Green chilli chopped 3

How to pickle Lololikka.

1.Pluck riped lolokka .
2.Clean & wash.
3.Wipe the water from the lololikka.
4.Boil water.
5.Add some salt .
6.Let the salt water cool down.
7.Once it is cooled down add lololikka.
8.Store  in an air tight container.
9.Keep in refrigerator.

Method

1.Heat a pan.
2.Heat oil.
3.Splutter mustard seeds.
4.Fry chopped onion,curryleaves,Sliced garlic,chopped chilli and chopped ginger.
5.Saute till it becomes light brown shade.
6.Now add turmeric powder,fenugreek powder,asafoetida powder&chillipowder.
7.Fry masala till raw smell goes off.
8.Add 1/3 cup of vinegar(apple cider vinegar).
9.Boil it.
10.If you need more gravy add boiled water( Here i am not adding water).
11.If you need moresalt add a little more salt.
12.Mix well.
13.Mix for 2-3 minutes on medium flame...
14.Don't boil it .
15.Switch off the flame ..let it cool down.....
16.Once it is cool down store in a air tight glass jar.
