Butter Chicken

Ingredients

1.Chicken(washed and cleaned) 1kg (Cut into medium pieces)
2. Big onion Sliced   (2)
3.Riped tomatoes sliced(2)
4.Shahi jeera 1/4 tsp
5.Kashmiri chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
6.Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
7.Garam masala 1tsp
8.Dried Fenugreek leaves(Kasuri Mathi) 1tsp
9.Ginger(a small piece) garlic(3 big pod) paste
10.Yoghurt 2tbs
11.Cashew nuts 10
12.Coriander leaves (A handfull)Before use it wash and strained well.
13.Butter 3tbs
14.Water 1cup
15. Fresh cream 100 gm
16.Salt

Method

1.Wash and clean chicken pieces.
2.Combine chicken pieces withYoghurt 2tbs,Ginger Garlic paste 1tsp,Turmeric powder 1/4tsp,Chilli     Powder 1/2 tsp,Garam Masala 1/2 tsp,Kasuri methi 1/4 tsp and salt.Mix all the ingredients.
3.Keep the marinated chicken in refrigerator for 1-2 hrs.
After 1-2 hrs...
4.Heat a Pan.
5.Melt 1 1/2 tbs butter.
6.Fry Marinated chicken pieces.
7.Keep the fried chicken aside.
8.Heat the same pan and add 1tbs butter.
9.Fry Shahi Jeera,Onion,Cashew nuts ,Ginger Garlic Paste 1tsp and sliced tomatoes.
10.Add salt  and saute till the mixture becomes soft. 
11.Add Chilli powder 1tsp ,Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
12 Saute again till the raw smell of the masala goes off.
13.Add 1 cup water.
14.Cover and cook till the onion ,tomato mixture becomes soft.
15.Once the onion mixture is cooked switch off the flame and let it cool down.
16.Once it is cooled down blend the mixture.
17.Strain the mixture.
18.Heat the same pan and pour the blended mixture.
19.Add fried chicken pieces into the mixture.
20.Add chopped coriander leaves.
21.Let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
22.Finally add fresh cream 2tbs and mix well.
23.Take some fried fenugreek leaves(methi leaves) and rubb with hands and add in to the gravy.
24.Switch off the Stove and Serve....
Butter chicken goes well with fried rice,Chappathi,Porotta, Nan etc.....
