Ottada

Ingredients

1.Banana Leaf 2
2.Coconut grated 1 cup
3.Sugar 4-5 tbs
4.Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
5.Wheat flour 2glass
6. Water
Method
1.Take  2 glass of Wheat  flour in a bowl.
2.Add Salt 1/2 tsp and sugar 2 tbs into the flour.
3.To make the flour into a  smooth and soft by adding lukewarm water   little by lttle.
   The dough should be looser than the chappathi /roti dough.
4.Use hand /spoon to mix the flour.
5.To Prepare Filling mix the coconut with cumin and sugar .
6.By using hand mix  it well.
7.As dough is sticky dip the finger in water to make the process easier.
8.Place a small portion of the dough and flatten the dough on the leaf.   Flatten it gently with fingers and flatten thinly on to the leaf.
9.Place sweet fillings  in the middle and fold the leaf.
10.Repeat the Process.
11.Heat an iron Tawa.
12.Place  the banana leaf parcel on the tawa and cook it for 4-5 minutes .
13.Flip it and cook again on low flame.
14.We can see the colour changed and some charred spots  on it.
15.Roast all Ada like this.
